Low Pressure - Intermittent Service
February 19, 2021
The Manville system continues to experience electrical and mechanical failures. Many areas in the system have experienced intermittent service during the failures while some areas have been without service.
This has been a catastrophic event due to power fluctuations and power outages taking out essential mechanical devices within our system and record breaking freezing temperatures. Our staff has been addressing equipment failures and power issues trying to keep the sites running and water flowing at whatever rate it can produce. The staff and contractors are working tirelessly to alleviate the problems, however repairs and replacements take time and weather conditions have slowed the process.
Once the weather conditions improve and the system failures stabilize Manville customers may continue to receive low pressure due to unknown leaks through-out the system as well as customers with private leaks.
