It is your responsibility to make sure you set up wastewater service with the provider in your area. Consult your wastewater provider for details.

New Meter Service

  1. Contact our office with your property address so that we may locate your property and verify that it is in the Manville CCN service area.
  2. You will be required to complete and submit a service application. All fees will need to paid when application is submitted. This application can be processed by mail and the fees paid by phone with a E-check or credit card; or, the application can be processed by fax or email with the appropriate fees paid by credit card or E-check by telephone.
  3. If your property is located in a non-developed area,  a site evaluation will need to be conducted to determine if there is an existing water line and sufficient capacity to serve the property. A site evaluation application must be completed, and $200.00 fee paid. If there is not an existing water line, measurements will be taken, and a cost estimate will be provided to you for extending the water line to your property. This cost estimate will need to be signed by you and returned to our office with the appropriate fees, prior to the commencement of the work. Submit any questions for this type of service to Manville’s development department at development@manvillewsc.org.
  4.  Once the water line extension or road bore is completed you will be referred to our customer service department to apply for service and pay appropriate meter fees.

Inspections

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations require an inspection of the water meter once it has been installed to ensure that proper practices have been followed.

Service Intervals

The amount of time required to establish new service is dependent on many factors. Once you have paid the appropriate fees and your application has been processed, we will provide you with a time frame for the new installation of service. The reason for this variation can be contributed to many things, for example, if a new meter is to be set in a rural area, road bore or other construction may be required, and therefore, a specific interval would have to be established accordingly.

Shorter, more standard time frames are available for new service within an urban area or at a residence or place of business where the meter is already set. These time frames will be provided to you at the time of your application.
